Holistic Insurance are well versed in all aspects of permanent cosmetics and have an in depth understanding of the requirements of our students, prior to training and after they have qualified, BABTAC also offer insurance for this treatment area as do other organisations.
Applications should be made to your local council, they will advise on specific requirements in regard to your area of work. Licenses vary in prices and specifics in different locations.
Theory day
Build on your drawing skills, positioning, direction, realism.
Practice your pressure on various fruits which mimic different skin types
Practice on silicon mats variations of the realism hair stroke brow design
First day working on skin simulation to get a feel for the texture and pressure on skin.
Colour theory – working with the pigments and identify undertones to help you choose the correct pigment for your client, mixing the pigments, developing an eye for colour, colour correction and retention.
Practical day or days
You will be provided with one or more models and complete full treatment.
After the practical days you need to complete between 5-10 case studies. You will compile a portfolio of your work including before and after photographs and completed forms and send over to your master for review.
This part will make you master your technique, so you are able to start working with clients and the level of your work will be satisfying:)
Assessment
Submit your work to your master via agreed channel (app or viper group) Once you have reached certain level of work you will gain your certificate.
Once you have completed the Artistry level you can then have a look at if you would like to book on to the Advance training.
The training is very much geared to the individual requirements of our potential students and your journey is yours to develop.
