Microblading Birmingham

TREATMENT OVERVIEW

Starbrows Microblading is the most natural manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic hairs drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial proportions and golden ratio proportion (phi 1,618). The technique is intended for anyone over the age of 18. It is very popular among women that appreciate natural eyebrows overdone look. It is also used to restore the missing shape of the eyebrow by drawing each individual hair stroke in the area. Both men and women are suitable for the treatment. If you don’t want to spend ages drawing your ideal eyebrow shape daily, this is a perfect solution to save you time in the morning. Microblading for male clients is a way of restoring facial hair without hair transplants on either, eyebrows, beards, or moustaches.

TREATMENT INFORMATION

For Microblading in Birmingham, there’s no better place to go than Starbrows. Before Microblading takes place in the desired area a shape will be drawn by the technician for your approval. After that, the colour will be chosen to suit your features and complexion to perfectly match your natural appearance in the area. After full approval of the pre-drawn shape, permanent makeup will take place and the treatment regularly lasts for a couple of hours during which we make sure you are comfortable. The use of anaesthetics helps with any discomfort during the treatment.

Immediately after the treatment, the appearance of your Microblading will be much darker and more intense. It softens during the next few days as the swelling goes down and the scabbing process starts. Full healing of the area takes between 4 to 12 weeks. Frequently Asked Questions

Microblading is a cosmetic, tattooing technique that imitates the natural hairs on the brows. The procedure involves drawing tiny hair strokes that build a texture that looks like your own eyebrow. Thanks to the highest quality pigments, colour will remain looking good for a long period of time.

On average Microblading should last from 1 to 2 years. The longevity of Microblading results is mostly determined by the oiliness, thickness and age of the skin. The oilier the skin is – the shorter the pigment retention will be. Sweating and sun exposure also have a major impact on pigment retention; semi-permanent makeup should be protected from the sun using SPF to prolong the results.

In general, the clients describe the treatment as not painful, however some experience slight discomfort. It depends on a client’s pain threshold and the area that is being treated. Topical anaesthetics are being used before and during the treatment to soothe the discomfort.

The colour will be fading gradually until it fully disappears. To maintain a good appearance of your eyebrows a maintenance treatment is recommended once a year. A discount of 50% is applied when the touch up is done within 6-12 months. Our clients will get a good discount up until 24 months after the initial session.

Yes, they do. It takes a few years for the colour to completely fade away from the skin, the time depends on the: area, depth and technique also used the colour. The darker the colour was used- the longer it will last. Fading also depends on the age and external factors.

This question can be answered by determining the client’s expectations and if we wish to achieve a natural or more defined appearance. The answer is simple if we wish for natural brows- Microblading is recommended, if we want darker, defined eyebrow Powder brows will be a perfect choice and if you cannot decide between the two then 3D Feather brows is answered as it combines the definition and subtleness

Correction of your Permanent Makeup is done after 4 to 8 weeks after the initial session. Up to 60% of colour can be lost during the healing process and that is absolutely normal. The top up session is recommended for every client to make sure the permanent makeup lasts longer and looks its best.

Your natural eyebrow hair continues growing as normal and regular maintenance for hair removal is required to keep a good appearance of the overall shape. The scabbing process should not affect eyebrow hair and should not cause them to fall out. This is why you cannot force the scabs but to allow them to fall naturally. If you tint your eyebrows on a regular basis, this also can be done after the area is fully healed.
